BRUCE BOLT was founded in 2017 by Bear Mayer in Austin, Texas at just 16 years old. What started as a way to earn gas money quickly became an obsession with building a better batting glove.

Named after the founder, the BEAR Series represents how this brand was built: hands-on, detail-driven, and never satisfied with “good enough.” It reflects the mindset that started it all.

Every BRUCE BOLT batting glove is built from hand-selected 0.9mm Cabretta leather. Soft, strong, and responsive.

We double reinforce high-wear zones in the palm and heel, use inverse stitching to minimize failure points, and shape each glove with conical fingers and an articulated wrist to mirror the natural position of the hand.

Our Long Cuff models feature the patent-pending Double Inverse Cuff system, delivering stabilizing wrist support without sacrificing feel.
